Sedgefield isn't just where we host — it's where we put down roots. This was our first home together, and we filled it with things that meant something: a surfboard turned into a light fitting, a kiteboard bar overhead, mornings watching the garden from the kitchen. Some of our happiest memories were made right here.

That's why hosting families matters to us. We genuinely love watching other families create their own moments in this space — kids splashing in the pool while grandparents sit on the stoep, teenagers commandeering the flatlet, everyone round the braai when the sun goes down.

We set the house up with sight lines in mind: the pool and jungle gym are fully visible from the main living area, so parents can keep an eye on the little ones without leaving the conversation. It's a small thing that makes a big difference.
